The free check
Your uploaded file is processed in server memory to produce its report. It is not saved to our order database. Hosting infrastructure may handle transient request data and security logs. Do not upload personal customer data, passwords, payment details or confidential material you are not authorised to share.
When you request a review
We store your catalogue, filename, email address, review notes and order status to assess and deliver the service. The operator can access these through a protected order desk. The reference and private access code also give access to your order; keep them safe.
Service providers
The service runs on Replit and uses its configured database for stored orders. Stripe handles payment details when checkout is enabled. We do not store card numbers. This version does not send your catalogue to an AI provider, use advertising trackers or send marketing emails.
File availability and retention
Unpaid files expire after seven days. Paid files remain available during preparation for up to 30 days; after delivery, downloads are available for 14 days. Expired files are removed from active records when the order or order desk is next accessed. Hosting backups may persist under the provider’s retention settings. Basic order and payment records may be retained for accounting and dispute handling.
Optional website analytics
If you choose Allow analytics, Google Analytics measures visits to our public pages, broad scroll depth, selected navigation clicks, and whether a free check started or completed. It uses pseudonymous cookie identifiers and receives technical information such as browser and device details. Google may process this information outside the UK under its applicable data-protection arrangements. Analytics helps us understand which guides are useful and where people encounter difficulties.
We do not send uploaded file contents, filenames, email addresses, order references or private order pages to Google Analytics. Query strings are removed from page addresses and referring links are reduced to their website origin. Advertising features are disabled. Optional analytics is not loaded before consent. We remember your choice locally for 180 days; analytics cookies are configured for the same period.
You can reject analytics or withdraw consent using Cookie settings in the footer when analytics is available. Withdrawing stops further measurement in that browser and removes accessible analytics cookies; it does not automatically erase information already received by Google. The service works without analytics.
Cookies and requests
A necessary session cookie protects forms and maintains order or owner access. IP-derived rate-limit counters help prevent abuse and expire after inactivity. To request access, correction or deletion of your information, contact the operator. We may need to verify your authority over the order.
